As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s hard to avoid thinking about what little time I have before finals. It seems the last several years Thanksgiving has been a time of stress for upcoming exams, papers, and projects. BUT, it is important to take a step back and allow myself a moment to reflect. Take some time to show thanks to the people in my life and show gratitude and appreciation for experiences I have had.
Today, I took some time to reflect on our last big adventure, getting married in Italy! I spent some time looking through our photos and videos leading up to our big day… We were about to get married and start our adventure together, but leading up to that day was the trip of a lifetime! And we got to share it with some of the people closest to us.
Our wedding day was perfect, our honeymoon was magical, but our time in Italy with family and friends was unforgettable.
Take some time out of your day to reflect on the special people in your life and the special moments and experiences you have shared together. Zain and I are thankful, grateful, and blessed to have such special people in our lives as we begin our journey together.
